About
This is me.
Heya, I’m Jonathan! In case the website didn’t make it obvious: I love video games.
I’m currently studying at The Game Assembly (TGA) in Malmö, Sweden, learning how to code video games. Prior to that, I spent three years diving into game writing and narrative design at the University of Skövde. And before that I earned my degree in English literature at Lund University, while exploring academia and the humanities for a few years.
Creativity is my constant companion. I am a songwriter and musician – at one point I played in three bands at the same time. I’ve dabbled in poetry slam. For five years, I had an annual writing project in November (no, not NaNoWriMo). I love to cook, and worked as a chef for several years. When I need to cut down on screen time, I enjoy a good book, playing the guitar, growing chilis on my windowsill or foraging mushrooms in the forest. I also attend my local bouldering gym – where half the clientele are game devs anyway!
GAME PROGRAMMER INTERNSHIP
The final leg of my journey at TGA is a 30-week internship. I just need to find one first! So if your game studio offers internship positions, let me know! Both on-site and remote positions are of interest, as I am open to relocating almost anywhere. I am available to start as early as June 22nd or as late as October 1st.
